Today was a good day! What a week! I started off on Sunday with a beautiful maternity and family session for one of the cutest families ever. More on that later but I can’t wait to meet their new baby girl scheduled to make her debut later this month. Then midweek I was honored to be present at the groundbreaking ceremonies for the National Center for Civil and Human Rights. Click here to check out those photos. And then I rounded out the week by attending the Coors Light Search for the Coldest MC contest at club Reign. I know it seems a bit all over the place- one minute I was rubbing elbows with Civil Rights Icons and corporate execs, and the next I was getting down with Ice Cube, TI and DJ Drama. That’s the beauty of photography and why I am enjoying this journey so much. I get to embrace ALL of my many sides and experiences. Anyway. I know your here to check out images from the contest so here’s a slideshow Coors Light Search for the Coldest MC.
A special thanks to local entertainment blogger Ray Cornelius for letting me tag along. Be sure you check out his blog to hear the latest on celebrities, arts and entertainment.
An unexpected performance by TI really had the crowd hyped.
And Ice cube brought it all home and performed a few classics. It was, indeed a good day
In the end, Lois LS Lane reigned victorious, but I have a feeling we’ll be hearing more from Jay R Da Star as well. Good luck to Lois Lane as she heads to New York and represents Atlanta.
