Tomorrow’s Luminaries Foundation is a wonderful organization committed to providing opportunities in literacy and leadership to students from under served backgrounds. I also had a chance to meet several of the students, and to say I was impressed with them does not do them justice. The Foundation seeks to develop a cadre of Global leaders and concerned citizens who will positively impact their communities and society as a whole. This past Sunday I was lucky enough to participate in one of their signature fundraising events. On Sunday October 28, 2012 Tomorrow’s Luminaries Foundation Hosted their 3rd Annual Polo Match at Chukkar Farm Polo Club in Alpharetta, Georgia. If you’ve never heard of or been to Chukkar Farm, it’s a little hidden gem of an event facility for an outdoor venue in Alpharetta.
Despite the cold, this red carpet event was very well attended, and if you missed it this year, you should go ahead and put it on your radar for next Fall. There was a silent auction, a fashion show, and a dessert bar that would rival any other. Wonderful entertainment provided by Maiesha McQueen and oh, how could I forget the Polo Match, my first one! Although it was only an exhibition match, it was still exciting. The models were great, as well as all of the sponsors.
If you’ve been wanting to get a more eco-friendly vehicle but didn’t want to give up on luxury or style you need to go see the people at Select Luxury Cars. They had some cars out there that no-one could take their eyes off of.
It was such a pleasure to connect with Tomorrow’s Luminaries Foundation. It was a classy event all around plus, those of you who know me well know anything to do with making a positive difference in the lives of young people gets me every time. And you had to love the security at the event, cutest security guard ever…
A special thanks to Executive Director Keli Stancil for allowing me to attend this event. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to working with you again. Be sure to check out Tomorrow’s Luminaries Foundation and see how you can get more involved. If you’re looking to view or purchase images from the Polo Match you can do that here.
