Baby Caleb Is Here | Atlanta Birth Photographer

He’s here he’s here!  while I was excited when my clients asked me if I was willing to photograph the arrival of their newest addition; I wasn’t exactly sure how the logistics would work.  If you know me even a little bit, you know I am always game to try something new so I happily obliged them.  How could I not, we had such an incredibly fun maternity session!

Lewis Maternity CollageSo when I got the call yesterday afternoon that they were heading to the hospital I was a bit anxious.  Jackson and I were spending some quality time together at home, so after alerting my wonderful husband that I needed him to meet me at the hospital so that he could take Jackson we headed out.  The hubby was stuck in traffic, and I was worried I would miss it.  This was the third one, aren’t they supposed to come faster when you have more than one child? (Says Me- mommy to only one).  So this is when I was thankful to the incredible network of friends we have here and relieved when my friend agreed to allow me to just completely impose and bring my child to his house at the last-minute to wait for his dad.  So I rushed to Atlanta Medical Center praying that I hadn’t missed it.  And then we waited, and waited, and waited and waited some more.  I’m sure mom and dad would agree that it was worth the wait.

Welcome to the world baby Caleb, born 6/5/13 at 11:03 PM.  This is what 30 minutes brand new looks like.  Can’t wait for his newborn photo session with his big brothers.
