It’s so hard to believe that it is already time for the kids to head back to school. The weather outside still screams summer but the time has come to hit the books. Oh what can I say working with these talented kids was so much fun for this Back to School editorial photo shoot for the South Fulton Lifestyle Magazine and the inaugural issue of the Fayette County Lifestyle Magazine. Jennifer Jefferson wrote a great article with some suggestions for back to school so be sure to check it out. I have to admit, it was hot but these models did not let that stop them from bringing their A game. If you follow my work you know I have a passion for photographing teenagers and children in Atlanta and beyond so this shoot was truly a joy. We wanted to highlight some back to school fashion trends. The Children were styled with clothing from The Gap by the ever talented Meyonda Benjamin. Meyonda also pulled together wardrobes for our teen models. I love working with her as my stylist because no matter what crazy vision I send her she executes it and pulls everything together impeccably. And for this particular shoot she also took care of the hair and makeup for our models. The location of the shoot was my studio and the Goat Farm in Atlanta Georgia. Be sure to stop over and peruse the articles in the magazines, they are always a wealth of information. Growing up in New England Labor day always signaled the end of summer and the time to head back to school, so being here in Georgia I am still having to adjust to these August start dates now that my little one os also school age. Whether your kids are already back to school for the year or if you are still soaking up those last few weeks of summer fun hopefully you will enjoy a little inspiration as you pull together your children’s wardrobes. If you are here in Atlanta and have made it through those first few days of back to school great job, and for those of you whose children will head back to school in the next few weeks good luck. Here’s to a great school year!
I would love to become your photographer. Please contact me to set up a consultation.
